This 60 grit abrasive blade cleaning block will remove rust, grime and starch build up from your scythe blades.
This is a rough block and is a good one to start with  on mildly rusted or dirty blades.
Ideal for use pre peening to show up the gleam on your blade. Use after cleaning the blade with a damp cloth post mowing. Use on old blades or to clean blades after being stored over winter or for long periods.
 
The blue block is  60 Grit, coarse. 
Use on scythe blades, shears, scissors, secateurs and other metal tools. 
These blocks can be used dry or with a liquid lubricant.
